Adieu, Kitchen Posts

I’m throwing in the towel, I just don’t enjoy it as much as I hoped.  I would love to do this in real life, and as much as I’ve tried, the Natives have to eat.  All’s not lost,  I can at least do it here – I’m leaving the kitchen!

I thought, HAVING to write about cooking would motivate me into trying new recipes. I thought maybe the writing aspect combined with the cooking part would make it more bearable.  It didn’t work.  That part of my blog became just as tedious as the real thing, so I’m out of here.  No more misery or dread here, freedom is but a few clicks away.  If only I could do that for good in real life . . . bliss . . .

My guys will have to endure my health shakes, scrambled eggs with spinach breakfasts and tuna fish sandwiches.  At least they’ll have Cowboy’s cooking to look forward to.

Instead I’m replacing that section with something that I do enjoy – reading!  Books, reviews and all things literary related.

I’d love to get my readers involved to share with me what they’re reading – how fun would that be?!  Now that’s something I can look forward to!

  1. I actually love cooking but love books too. Just finished reading the first two Fifty Shades of Grey and am on the third. Not sure how I feel about them. If you haven’t read them it’s impossible to understand. People love or hate them but I am somewhere in between. Finished reading Jodi Piccoult’s book a few weeks ago that I loved! In fact, I am saving it for Aunt Judy. I sent her another one that she enjoyed. Have you read any of her books?
